MAP Assessment
Prior to Test Day
Check the testing schedule from your teacher (students may be testing in groups, so your child may not test during the entire time set aside)
- Make sure your device has an internet connection
- Disable pop-up blocking on your internet browser (allow pop ups)
- Make sure your device meets testing requirements using the Workstation Diagnostic Tool
- Watch the MAP Growth introduction video
- Practice the test at practice.mapnwea.org
(Username: grow, Password: grow) - Make sure your child is using the chromebook from school, and if that is not possible please call the school

On Test Day
- Have a solid night of sleep and a good breakfast
- Minimize distractions for your child as much as possible
- Provide a quiet testing environment
- Allow the teacher/proctor to open the session first
- Students will join their Google Meet
- in a second tab, they will log in at test.mapnwea.org when they are prompted by their teacher
- Make sure you have a way to communicate with the teacher/proctor during the test
- Follow any additional instructions from the teacher/proctor

El día de la prueba
